Humans in Motion (HIM) is a Sports Robotics Research Lab in San Francisco. We are building Adam, the world's best athlete. We believe major technological breakthroughs are best shown through sports. Chess with DeepBlue. Go with AlphaGo. Sports in the physical world and Adam.

Adam is 3'11". He's learning every sport on Earth. He already dances, throws spirals, boxes, and kicks. He also knows how to take pictures with a Polaroid camera. Every week we ship a new skill, take him out into the world, and put him alongside the best athletes alive so that he can learn from the best.

Think of us as Mercedes AMG in F1, except the driver is a robot, and the track is every playing field on the planet. Our mission is to win at sports, educate the world about robotics, and eventually share an Adam with every household.

You are Adam's handler. You take him everywhere — sporting events, training facilities, streets, stadiums — and you make sure the world sees what he can do.

Every week we ship a new skill and take Adam out to demonstrate it. Your job is to be the person who makes that happen in the field. You'll coordinate logistics, operate Adam on location, capture the content, and help tell the story of what robotics can do in the physical world.

This is a traveling role. You will be on the road constantly.

• Travel with Adam to cities across the country (and eventually the world) for demos, athlete collaborations, and live sporting events
• Operate Adam on-site — setup, calibration, running demos, troubleshooting in the field
• Film and capture content at every activation: raw footage, behind-the-scenes, reaction moments, athlete interactions
• Coordinate logistics end-to-end: travel, venue access, equipment shipping, event credentials
• Work directly with athletes, teams, and event organizers to set up and execute collaborations
• Own Adam's public presence on the ground — you're the face people meet before they meet him
• Feed content back to the team for the weekly changelog, social, and long-form storytelling

• Operator mindset. You figure things out on the fly and don't need hand-holding. Things break in the field — you handle it.
• Strong eye for content. You know how to capture a moment. Whether it's a phone or a proper camera rig, you get the shot.
• You travel light and move fast. Weekend flights and last-minute logistics don't faze you.
• You love sports — not just as a viewer, but as someone who understands what greatness looks like and gets excited to put Adam next to it.
• People person. Athletes, coaches, event staff — you're comfortable in every room and you represent HIM well.
• Bonus: any experience with robotics hardware, basic troubleshooting, or operating technical equipment in the field.
